Good Evening all
The card I am showing today was made for a Celebrations of any sort challenge post on Sheena Douglass Inkettes site and also for an 18th birthday in a couple of weeks.
The background was inked with spiced marmalade and picked raspberry distress inks through Sheena's groovy 60's stencil and then spiced marmalade blended in between.
I used Sheena's Day of the Dead Music embossing folder twice and then ran the picked raspberry ink over the top to bring out the embossing
This was a background made with the Pebeo marker pens and blended and then picked raspberry ink blended round the edges as shown below
I stamped the groovy girls in Archival ink - don't worry if it doesn't stamp cleanly as once they are cut out they will be inked again
The girls were cut out and inked the edges in black then used versamark on them and embossed in black
A piece of white card was edged with a raspberry sparkle pen and edged with a black pebeo marker, put that on the blended pen background and edged that too with a black pebeo marker
The numbers were from my chipboard crafty stash and coloured with the sparkle pen and the sentiments were embossed in black and embossed
Thank you for visiting and hope to see you again xx
